The 3* Merchant`s House Hotel is located in the centre of the historic city of Salisbury and is just a 10-minute walk from Salisbury Railway Station. The city is best known for its Cathedral, which is the tallest in Britain standing at 404 feet. The Salisbury Cathedral Clock is also another sight for visitors to see and explore the history of as it is the oldest working clock in the world, being built in 1386. As well as historical landmarks, the city also has much to do including a short 10-minute walk to the Salisbury Playhouse to watch a show or even the Salisbury Museum, which is situated next to the impressive Cathedral. On the 20th December 1800, Admiral Nelson was welcomed to the city where he actually stayed at this exact hotel, there is now a room named after him that guests can stay in.

BY TRAIN:From Salisbury station Walk towards South Western Rd. Turn right onto Fisherton St and follow over the river until it becomes Bridge St. Continue onto Butcher Row and then onto New Canal. Walk left and continue onto Milford St, the hotel will be on the left.
